Parks and Recreation
Evanston’s Parks and Recreation Department is run by Dennis Poppinga and is responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, and capital improvements of Evanston’s parks, buildings, and Parks and Recreation facilities. The Department is also committed to maintaining the City cemetery, Bear River Greenway, BEAR Community Center, Ice Ponds, Purple Sage Golf Course and the Nordic cross country ski areas. High Uinta Classic Bike Race
